MISSION OF CACI

Recent shifts towards virtual teaching and on-line interaction has made the world smaller.  The Center for Academic Collaboration provides a platform for multiple universities to share teaching and research initiatives.  Teachers and researchers can expand their resources and influence beyond the limits of their campus,  faculty and students, and research facilities.  Academic institutions can move beyond their geographic, economic and funding constraints. CACI will encourage exchanging teaching materials, engaging in joint work groups to address emerging issues, pursuing joint funding initiatives, and co-publishing reports and papers.  These opportunities can be enhanced by engaging with private industry, government agencies, and other organizations that are interested in guiding research, training future workers and overcoming current and future technical, social and economic challenges. Opportunities will emerge for more effective teaching and research, improved qualifications for employment, internships that provide unique networking and experience, and mentoring to feed back decades of experience to our future leaders.
